Red Pyramid
Dahshur — the first true pyramid.
Also Sneferu's, built after the Bent Pyramid at the corrected 43-degree angle: the first successful smooth-sided pyramid and the model for Giza. The name comes from the ironstone-tinted limestone exposed once the white casing was taken away. Its three corbelled chambers can be entered down a long low descending passage, and the interior is largely free of crowds.
