Six days from the Pacific coast to the Sacred Valley, 29 September to 4 October 2023 — Lima's cliffside districts, the Inca and colonial layers of Cusco, the terraced valley of the Urubamba, and Machu Picchu itself. The altitude does the work on you: Cusco sits at 3,400 metres, higher than the ridge the citadel stands on, and the light at that elevation is hard and very clean.
